Open the phone view from the My day card on your OPD screen. It shows your line, how long the waiting room will take, new lab reports for your patients and today's prescriptions with a WhatsApp button. For a returning patient on the same medicines, Repeat last Rx copies the last prescription and finishes it in one tap. On a tablet, Write by hand lets you write the prescription with a stylus or finger; it prints under the typed medicines.
In this guide 4 sections
Busy chambers lose minutes on every patient. This guide covers two shortcuts: the phone view, for doctors who want to run their line from a phone, and writing by hand, for doctors who prefer a pen to a keyboard. Both work in every Hospify Pro plan, for general, dental and eye doctors.
You can try them in the live chamber demo: sign in as the doctor and open the phone view from the OPD screen.
Part 1: The phone view
Step 1: Open the phone view
On the OPD (Doctor) screen, the My day card shows today’s patients seen and waiting, your average minutes per patient, your fees today and this month, and follow-ups due today. Press Phone view → at the top of the card.
On a phone, the OPD screen also shows a link to the phone view at the top. Bookmark it, or add it to your home screen.

Step 2: See your line at a glance
The phone view shows, from the top:
- Seen, waiting and my fees today.
- The waiting-room bar, for example About 21 min to see everyone · longest wait 33 min. It turns red when someone has waited over an hour.
- Call next patient → opens the next patient on the full prescription screen.
- My line: each patient’s serial, age, how long they have waited, any allergy, and their last visit with how many medicines.

The same waiting-room bar is at the top of the full OPD screen.

Step 3: Repeat a prescription in one tap
For a returning patient on the same treatment, for example a monthly blood pressure or diabetes follow-up:
- Press Repeat last Rx on their row.
- Press Yes, repeat & finish to confirm, or Cancel.
Hospify Pro copies the last prescription’s diagnoses, medicines, advice and follow-up, finishes it and marks the patient as seen. It leaves out any medicine the patient is now allergic to, and if a serious safety warning comes up it stops and asks you to open the patient instead.

Need to change something? Press Open to go to the full prescription screen for that patient.
Step 4: Check new reports and send prescriptions
Further down the phone view:
- New reports: lab reports verified in the last three days for patients you saw in the last three months. Tap one to open it.
- Today’s prescriptions: every prescription you finished today, with Print and WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens a message to the patient with a link to their prescription.
Part 2: Writing the prescription by hand
Some doctors write faster than they type. On a tablet with a stylus, or a touch-screen laptop, you can write the prescription by hand and still keep the patient’s record, the letterhead and the QR check.
Step 5: Open the writing page
On the OPD screen, in the Prescription card, press ✍ Write by hand.
Step 6: Write and save
- Write with your stylus or finger. Choose the pen: Fine, Medium or Bold.
- Press Clear to start again.
- Press Save page.
A preview appears under the medicines, with Edit to add more.

Step 7: Finish as usual
Press Finish & print prescription. The handwriting prints under the typed medicines on your letterhead, with the patient’s details, the date, the QR code and your signature.
Tip: type the medicines you can (the allergy and interaction check only reads typed medicines) and use handwriting for drawings, special instructions or anything else.
Other time-savers on the prescription screen
- Suggested advice: after you choose a diagnosis, ready advice for it appears in Bangla or English, for example for fever, blood pressure, diabetes, gastric problems, tooth extraction or glaucoma. Tap to add, then edit.
- Repeat last, ★ My favourites and Templates: for the medicines you prescribe most.
- Lab trends: the patient’s past results show as a small trend line, so you see a rising HbA1c or creatinine at a glance.
- Children’s growth: for patients under 19, weight and height show their WHO percentile and a note if the child is underweight, stunted or overweight.
- Correcting a finished prescription: press Amend prescription and pick a reason. The number stays the same and the print says Amended.

Tips and common questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. Open your Hospify Pro address in your phone's browser and sign in. You can add it to your home screen from the browser menu so it opens like an app.
Is a one-tap repeat safe?
It copies only a finished prescription, leaves out any medicine the patient is now allergic to, and stops if a serious interaction or safety warning comes up, sending you to the full screen to review it. Anything that changed since the last visit should be written on the full screen.
Can the owner or an admin use the phone view?
Yes. A doctor sees their own line. An owner or admin who is not a doctor sees the first active doctor's line.
Can I mix typed medicines and handwriting?
Yes. Type the medicines that need the allergy and interaction check, and write anything else by hand. The handwriting prints under the typed medicines.
Can I change the handwriting after saving?
Yes, until you finish the prescription. Press Edit under the preview to add to it, or remove it and start again. After finishing, use Amend prescription.
